Tour Itinerary

• Day 1

  Arrival Bhubaneswar

  Meet and greet on arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway station and transfer to hotel. After a fresh-up visit to the ancient temples like Lingaraj-the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar, Mukteswar, Rajarani & 64 Yogini temple (Yogini sculpture having 64 different hair style & one among four Yogini temple in India). Evening free for independent activities. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

  Note:

  • Lingaraj temple remain open from 05.00 to 21.00hrs and close for 01hr between 11.00 to 13.00hrs. Devotees can go in to the garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum) between 06.00 to 08.00hrs & 13.00 to 16.00hrs.

  • Non-Hindu are not allowed to Lingaraj temple. They can see from the specific platform.   

• Day 2

  hubaneswar-Konark-Puri (130 kms/2.5 hrs)

  After breakfast proceed to Puri. En-route visit Dhauli Buddhist shanti stupa, Sun temple & interpretation center at Konark (the UNESCO World heritage monument), Chandrabhaga beach. On arrival, check-in to the Hotel. After fresh-up visit to the temple of Universal God Lord Jagannath (One among four Dham of Hindu religion). After darshan visit other temples of God & goddesses, the Anandabazar, the vast Kitchen & Koili Baikuntha. The word ‘Koili’ means burial ground for the trinity & ‘Baikuntha’ means the heaven. Evening leisure at the golden beach Puri/visit to the beach market. Overnight stay at Puri.

  Note:

  • Jagannath temple remains open from 05.00 to 22.00hrs and closes for 01.3hr between 07.30 to 9.30am & 01-hour between 12.00 to 14.00hrs.

  • For Jagannath temple, Devotees must wear decent clothes to enter the shrine. Wearing half pants, shorts, torn jeans, ripped jeans, skirts & sleeveless dresses are not permitted.

  • Non-Hindu are not allowed inside the Jagannath temple & Gundicha temple premises. 

  • Mobile phones, cameras, leather items, paan, gutkha, tobacco, food items, bags, Polythin & plastic are not allowed inside the Jagannath & Gundicha temple premises.

  • Be careful of monkeys at Jagannath temple. Keep your wallet & bags carefully.

  • Konark Sun temple remains open from 08.00 to 18.00hrs. Light & sound show time: 18.30 to 19.15hrs (Winter) & 19.00 to 19.40hrs (summer) and operated weather condition & minimum 25-pax. Show remains closed every Monday. 

• Day 3

  Excursion trip to Chilika (55 kms/ 1.25 hrs one way)

  Post breakfast excursion trip to Satapada (One end of Chilika Lagoon). Enjoy the motor boat ride in the largest brakish water lagoon of Asia and explore Sea mouth, Rajhans Island (drive pass), rare Irrawaddy dolphins, local birds etc. Back to Puri and visit the Niladri beach & Blue flag beach. Rest of the day leisure at the golden beach/free for independent activities. Overnight stay at Puri.

• Day 4

  Puri-Bhubaneswar (70 kms/1.5 hrs)

  After breakfast proceed to Bhubaneswar, en-route visit through Raghurajpur/Nayak Patna artisan village, Pipili appliqué market. On arrival at Bhubaneswar visit Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain Caves and Jain temple, Tribal Museum & Kala Bhoomi-a craft museum (both close on Monday & govt. holidays). Later you may visit to Ekamra haat-the traditional market and a platform to get all handicraft & handloom products of Odisha or to local market for shopping. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

  Note:

  • Be aware of Monkeys at Khandagiri & Udayagiri. Keep your wallet & bag carefully. Udaigiri remain open from 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs. 

• Day 5

  Bhubaneswar Departure

  Post breakfast, if time permits visit to Nandankanan Zoological Park-popular for white tiger (close on Monday). In time transfer to Airport/Railway station for onward journey.

  Note:

  • Nandankanan Zoological Park remains open from 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs. Being a sanctuary Zoo it takes minimum 03-04 hrs to cover.
