Tour Itinerary

• Day 1

  Arrive in Baku

  Welcome to Baku, the capital and commercial hub of Azerbaijan, is a low-lying city with coastline along the Caspian Sea. Arrive at the airport and get transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Baku.

  
• Day 2

  Baku - City Tour

  After breakfast, proceed for the city tour of Baku. Visit Liberty Square, (photo stop), travel on main streets and areas of the city with acquaintance of monumental sculpture, Mountain Park observation venue from where you get the view of the city. Later proceed for the sightseeing tour of “Old City”- medieval part of Baku. Visit “Shirvanshahs’ Palace”, ancient quarter mosques, bath, fragments of residential buildings, Caravansaries “Bukhara” and “Multani”, “Gyz Galasi” (Maiden Tower) - the oldest construction of Baku, the Market Square , old mosque  including the minaret Synyk Gala, narrow streets of the medieval town, shops and stores of handicraft, souvenir and antique shops. Return back to the hotel. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Baku.

  
• Day 3

  Baku - Gobustan & Apsheron Tour

  Today morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Yanardaq. Flames shoot into the air 10 feet (3.0 m) from a thin porous sandstone layer at the base of a 30-foot-wide scarp (9.1 m) below a hillside known as Yanar Dag near Baku, only a handful of fire mountains exist today in the world, and most are located in Azerbaijan. Visit fire worshiper’s Temple “Ateshgah '' which is located in Surakhany. Later proceed to Gobustan, approx. 65kms. Travel southwest of Baku along the Caspian shore to the volcanic desert where rocks are covered with carvings, standing amidst the scattered stones and mountains. Arrive at Qobustan (National Historical - Artist Preserve). There are more than 6,000 rock carvings left by the artists of the Mesolithic period. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Baku.

  
• Day 4

  Baku- Departure

  After breakfast it’s time to check out. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or back home.
