Passport: Original Passport with two blank pages and it should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.

Application Form: A Visa Application Form that is completely filled and signed by the Applicant. (Tip –Use only one pen to fill the form; overwriting /using whitener is not allowed.)

Cover Letter: Covering letter on letterhead of the company addressed to ‘The Visa Officer, Consulate General of Singapore, Mumbai’ stating name of the applicant, designation, nationality, passport number, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and saying that all the expenses including medical, boarding and lodging will be borne by the company. It should also contain the name and designation of the authorised signatory with Company Seal. In case applicant is travelling with someone, their name, relationship with the applicant and passport details should be mentioned on the covering letter.

Invitation Letter: Invitation letter from Invitee counterpart, on letterhead of the company for business, addressed to ‘The Visa Officer, Consulate General of Singapore, Mumbai’ stating name of the applicant, designation, nationality, passport number, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and with the detail of expenses taken care by invitee. It should also contain the name and designation of the authorised signatory with Company Seal. Form V39-A, Letter of Introduction (LOI) required from sponsor along with FIN (Foreign Identification Number)/ NRIC.

Financial Statement: Updated Bank Statement of the last 3 months for first time travellers. If applicant has traveled to Europe/USA/UK/Australia/New Zealand on a valid passport, then bank statement is not required.

Any two of these - Current Electricity bill, Mobile/Landline bill, Society Letter (Original), Agreement copy of Flat, Credit Card Statement (All document should be on Applicants Name)

The letter should be duly signed by the authorised signatory & addressed to ‘The Visa officer, Singapore High Commission, New Delhi’. Applicant’s contact number must be mentioned on the cover letter.

Invitation Letter:

Copy of Invitation Letter from Singapore host/inviting Company on its letterhead stating the applicant's name, designation, purpose and duration of visit, and UEN number or Registration number along with Form V39A.

V39A form is required for business meetings only and person signing V39A should have NRIC number starting with:

a) UEN No./registration number must be mentioned in invitation letter & form V39A as well.

b) NRIC no. must be mentioned in invitation letter only Singapore national.

Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Union Territories of Chandigarh, NCT of Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura

Passport: Original Passport that is valid for at least 6 months while entering Singapore. Hand-written Passports are not acceptable. Old Passports should be enclosed, if available. If old Passport is misplaced or damaged, same should be mentioned in the covering letter.

Application Form: Duly filled and signed Visa Application Form is needed. The form should not have any corrections made using whitener and over-writing words/statement is not allowed. In case of minors, both parents should sign the form.

Occupation Proof: For self employed applicants copy of business registration or GST copy is required.

Invitation Letter: A letter from Indian Company explaining the purpose of visit. Letter from Indian company explaining the purpose of visit. An invitation from invitee company country in Singapore along with V39A- form from the invitee company with their passport copy and Singapore Visa copy, if applicable.

Only Confirmed tickets are needed. If not confirmed, do not provide. However, original ticket/s is mandatory for Transit Visa.

Only confirmed Accommodation proof is needed. If accommodation is not confirmed, do not provide.

Applicants residing in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands are eligible to apply in Chennai Consulate. The applicants who are residing in the above locations, but their passport issued outside of the Jurisdiction need to submit a government authorised document for address proof.

Please note, though most of the Singapore Visa Applications get approved in 2 working days, standard time declared by the consulate is 3 to 5 working days for an application. Consulate may not respond to us if we approach them to grant a Visa for an urgent case within this period, hence plan your travel accordingly. Clients or agents should not call the Consulate to know the status for any reason.
