After breakfast at 09:00 hrs, meet your tour guide who will show you the highlights of Reykjavik, Iceland's exciting capital city. Afterward, head west towards Borgarnes, where you will learn about Iceland's earliest days at the Settlement Center. Continue to Borgarfjörður, known as the Saga Valley for its historical significance. You'll have a chance to climb the Grábrók volcano crater and visit Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring. Explore the Hraunfossar waterfalls, which flow from beneath a wide lava field, and visit Barnafoss, also known as the Children's Falls. In the evening, attend a lecture about the Northern Lights. After dinner, step into the hotel garden in search of the Northern Lights and enjoy a hot cup of chocolate or tea. Overnight stay in Borgarnes.

After breakfast, proceed to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called "the peninsula of the snowy mountain." This peninsula offers a microcosm of Iceland's diverse landscapes. Visit the fishing village of Grundarfjörður, known for its impressive coastline and the famous mountain Kirkjufell. Explore Arnarstapi and Hellnar before descending into Vatnshellir cave, an underground lava tube beneath the Snæfellsjökull glacier. On the way back to Borgarnes, the guide will provide practical tips on photographing the Northern Lights as part of the Northern Lights Academy program. In the evening, search for the Northern Lights in the hotel garden and relax in the outdoor hot tubs. Overnight stay in Borgarnes.

Embark on a journey along the Hvalfjörður fjord and visit an Icelandic wool outlet store to see their craftsmanship. Continue to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Travel the Golden Circle route, marveling at the Geysir geothermal fields and the Strokkur geyser's eruptions. Enjoy a taste of freshly baked hot spring bread served with Icelandic butter, boiled eggs, and herring at the Restaurant Geysir. Explore the double waterfall of Gullfoss and learn about the unique qualities and history of the Icelandic horse. Visit a geothermal greenhouse before reaching your accommodation in South Iceland. In the evening, venture out to search for the Northern Lights in the peaceful surroundings of rural Iceland. Overnight stay in Hella, South Iceland.

Travel along the South coast and visit the Lava & Volcano Exhibition Center to learn about geology and active volcanoes. Continue to one of Iceland's finest folk museums, which houses a remarkable collection of farm and domestic artifacts. Admire the Skógafoss waterfall, one of the country's most impressive waterfalls. Spend two nights near Kirkjubæjarklaustur in the Vatnajökull National Park region, an ideal location for searching for the Northern Lights. Overnight stay in Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Today's program is focused on glaciers, ice, and icebergs. Travel to Jökulsárlón, a glacial lagoon filled with floating icebergs, and explore this incredible site. You may even spot seals swimming in the arctic waters. Visit the nearby Diamond Beach, where large icebergs wash ashore on the black sandy beach. In the afternoon, visit the tiny turf church at Hof and spend time at Europe's largest national park, which features Iceland's highest mountains and Europe's largest glacier. In the evening, enjoy a film presentation about the Northern Lights as part of the Northern Lights Academy program. Take advantage of the remote and quiet location to search for the Northern Lights shimmering and dancing across the night sky. Overnight stay in Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
Optional: Ice Cave Tour (offered between October-April, subject to weather permit) You have the option to join an Ice Cave Tour, which takes approximately 2.5 hours in total. The tour includes a 30-minute 4x4 drive from Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and a 5-15 minute hike (one-way). Inside the ice cave, you'll spend about one hour exploring this unique natural formation. Please note that good hiking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are necessary, as the ice caves can be wet. The minimum age for this tour is 10 years old. While the ice cave tour takes place, the rest of the group will continue with the official tour program, including a stop at Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, which is included for all participants.

After breakfast, depart from Kirkjubæjarklaustur and travel across the Eldhraun lava field to the village of Vík. In the evening, return to Reykjavík for your last night. Overnight stay in Reykjavík.

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation. You will be transferred by Flybus shuttle bus from your Reykjavík accommodation to Keflavik International Airport for your onward flight or journey back home.
