Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati & transfer to your hotel. Later, visit Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temples, Umananda Temple, Balaji Temple & State Zoo. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 2: Transfer to Shillong via Umiam Lake
After breakfast, transfer to Shillong. On the way, visit Umiam Lake. Arrive at Shillong & check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 3: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
After early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee. Visit Saimika Park, Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls & Mawsmai Caves. In the evening, return to Shillong & visit Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong – Mawlynnong – Shillong
After early breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong. See the Living Root Bridge & the natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 5: Transfer to Kaziranga
After early breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga. Arrive & check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 6: Explore Kaziranga
Early morning, set out on 1-hour Elephant Ride. Return to hotel for breakfast. Then, head out for Jeep safari (at own expense) in the Central Range. Later, enjoy local village and outer view of the tea garden. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Note: Permit for Elephant Ride & Jeep Safari will be subjected to the approval of Forest department.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati airport for your onward flight.
