Itinerary

Upon arrival at Riyadh Airport and after completing visa and immigration formalities, our representative will meet you and escort you to your air-conditioned vehicle for transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Riyadh.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Riyadh with a visit to the National Museum, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s heritage and the history of Arabian civilization from prehistory to the modern era. Continue to Murabba Palace (outside view, under renovation), one of the city’s historic landmarks. Enjoy lunch at a traditional Saudi restaurant before visiting Masmak Fort and its museum, where King Abdulaziz’s 1902 victory marked the birth of modern Saudi Arabia. End the day with a drive past the Kingdom Tower and Al Faisaliah Tower before returning to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Riyadh. (B,L)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and board the train for Ha’il, a journey of approximately 6 hours. Arrive around lunchtime (on your own) in this city nestled at the foot of the Shammar Mountains, known for its hospitality and literary heritage. Ha’il was a key stop for many 19th-century European explorers, including Charles Doughty and Lady Blunt. In the afternoon, visit A’Arif Fort, the nearby heritage museum, and stroll through the traditional market to sample local delicacies. Pass by the Ha’il Regional Museum, stopping to explore its collections if open. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay in Ha’il. (B,D)

After breakfast, depart for Jubbah, an ancient settlement once lying on the shores of a prehistoric lake. Surrounded by sandstone outcrops, Jubbah is famous for its petroglyphs and inscriptions depicting wildlife from the last humid period of the Arabian Peninsula, including aurochs, cheetahs, and lions. Together with Shuwaymis, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. Continue through the vast Nefud Al Kabir Desert, renowned for its sweeping red sand dunes. Lunch at leisure en route. On arrival in Al Ula, visit Jebel Al-Fil (“Elephant Rock”) before checking in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Al Ula. (B,D)

After breakfast, explore Al Ula, an ancient oasis inhabited for over 7,000 years. Visit Hegra (Madain Saleh), Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site and the southernmost city of the Nabatean Kingdom, home to 94 well-preserved monumental tombs dating back to the 1st century BCE. Discover its intricate carvings, inscriptions, and stone structures that tell the story of a thriving caravan trade hub. After lunch in the city, enjoy the Al Ula Old Town Tour, walking through streets once frequented by pilgrims, traders, and settlers from before the 12th century until the 1980s. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Al Ula. (B, D)

This morning after breakfast and check-out, explore Al Ula, an ancient oasis inhabited for over 7,000 years. Visit Hegra (Madain Saleh), Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring 94 impressive Nabatean tombs dating back to the 1st century BCE. Discover its intricate carvings, inscriptions, and stone structures that once marked a key stop on the incense trade route. Lunch at leisure before driving to Medina (approx. 3.5–4 hrs). On arrival, check in at your hotel. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay in Medina. (B,D)

After breakfast, explore the outskirts of Medina, including views of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) and the Masjid al-Qiblatain, where the direction of prayer was changed to Mecca. Take a short walk near Mount Uhud and visit the Dar Al Madina Museum to learn about the life of the Prophet and Islamic history. In the afternoon, drive to Jeddah (approx. 5 hrs). After breakfast, explore Al-Balad, Jeddah’s historic old town, with a guided walk through its hidden markets, galleries, and local food spots. View Beit Nassif (from outside), a beautifully restored 19th-century building blending traditional architecture with modern touches. Lunch at leisure before visiting the Al Rahmah Mosque, known as the “Floating Mosque,” offering stunning Red Sea views. End the day along the scenic 30 km Jeddah Corniche, featuring pavilions, public art, and King Fahd’s Fountain—the tallest in the world. Conclude with dinner at a traditional Saudi restaurant. Overnight stay in Jeddah. (B, D)
